From a very early age, Naif Sinada knew he wanted to go into the medical field. Inspired by his older brother, a prosthodontist, and his older sister, a pediatric dentist, dentistry seemed to be in the household of the Sinada family. After earning a Bachelor of Arts in biology and a double in minor in chemistry and international studies with a global health emphasis, Sinada continued his studies at the University of Iowa for his Master of Public Health before deciding to head for warmer climates for dental school.
He says he fell in love with the Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Glendale, Arizona immediately after the interview and knew it was the right place to continue his studies.
Following dental school and residencies in Brooklyn and Baltimore, Sinada studied Maxillofacial prosthodontics and oral oncology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
Dr. Sinada has been an early adopter of digital dentistry and a proponent of applying digital dentistry to various aspects of prosthodontics – from surgical applications to comprehensive prosthodontics treatment and maxillofacial prosthetics. Dr. Sinada continues to publish work and present on the subjects of digital dentistry, prosthodontics, implants and a multitude of others.
